I am out of the hospital and I can finally say I am done with my 8 course chemotherapy. I still have to wait for my levels to drop and recover, but for now, it feels damn good to be done! What's next? Well, I have one more biopsy of my bone marrow coming to make sure the cancer stayed out of my marrow. Once I am cleared there I go into a 2 year maintenance phase, where I'll be going to the clinic occasionally to be checked on and I'll take some chemo pills home, but I'll at least be able to get back to my life. I don't think I could have done it without the support of my family and friends.
My fiancée, who has been my positivity, hope and true partner through all this. I love you.
My mom who has been with me through almost all my clinic visits and tolerated me being back home for a lot of this. Thanks for everything you do!
The doctors and nurses at Northside hospital. What an amazing staff of people!
My friends who all supported me in one way or another, through rides, platelet donations and ears to hear my stories.
I love all of you and can't wait to see what's next. Thanks everyone!
